GetAttachmentThumbnail-1Restorative yoga and sound healing are conscious relaxation practices that restore, re-build, and maintain our health and sense of well-being.
Both modalities effectively loosen and unravel the roots of dis-ease: deeply held physical, emotional and mental tension. As tensions are released
the nervous system re-balances, the immune system is strengthened, and vitality is restored.

This workshop is excellent for stress management, re-establishing the proper function of all organs and body systems, recovery during or after illness/injury,
and restoring a sense of rhythm and balance to daily life. For seasoned practitioners, conscious relaxation practices re-affirm the proper “bhavana” or attitude
crucial for the practice of yoga. or any healing modality. An attitude of open hearted, relaxed effort that ensures a balanced progression in personal  growth,
on and off the mat.

Re-claim your health, soothe your heart, and calm your mind guided by a master teacher and healer in a beautiful, serene, and supportive
environment. No prior yoga experience is required. All are welcome. Seasonal healing teas will be served.

Asking $35 per session.

About the instructor:

Alexandra was introduced to yoga at the age of fourteen. While she has studied several different styles of yoga, it is the Iyengar system she credits for resolving her chronic back pain after an injury incurred in 1984. She has traveled and studied extensively worldwide and received her training and certifications from the BKS Iyengar Center, The American Institute of Vedic Studies, Arsha Vidya Gurukulum, Blazing Star Herbal School, The Four Winds and The Ann Wigmore Institute. A contemplative nature and more that 25 years healing experience as a yogini, nurse, and massage specialist lay the foundation for her teaching and work which is clear, inspiring, humorous and compassionate. She has taught thousands of people how to integrate yoga and related healing arts into their lifestyles for purposes of healing and transformation.  She is dedicated to helping others reclaim their health and sense of well-being through practices that are simple, empowering, effective and nourishing.
